About BGRemoveX

BGRemoveX is a free, browser-based background remover made by Gonisa Studio.

What it is for

BGRemoveX is for anyone who needs a subject without its background: a product for a shop listing, a portrait for a profile picture, or an object for a slide, poster or social post. Open an image, remove the background, fix any details, and download a PNG.

How it is built

BGRemoveX runs in your web browser. The image you open is processed on your device, and there is no account to create. When automatic removal gets something wrong, Smart Select and Refine let you correct it by hand instead of starting again.

Still improving

BGRemoveX is in beta. It works best with clear subjects on plain backgrounds, and automatic results can be imperfect, so please review each cutout before you use it. Features and processing routes may change as the tool improves; when they do, the privacy page and terms are updated to match.
